An early 20th century, Scandinavian painting of an interior scene of a dining room table set for tea, complete with a white linen table cloth by Knud Sinding. The room is in the artist's home on Gothersgade in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Knud Sinding (Danish, 1875-1946). Sinding studied at the Royal Academy of Art in Copenhagen under the artist Kristian Zarthmann (1843-1917). He traveled to Italy, which influenced his style of painting but his color palette was more inspired by the Scandinavian traditions. He lived and worked in Copenhagen until his death.
