Small Pair of Early Indo-Portuguese Baroque Painted Teak Architectural Pilasters

DETAILS
Hand carved, in stylized, Corinthian form, each of these baroque style, antique pillars features a richly carved acanthus motif on the capital, which sits atop a fluted column that terminates on a tall base, carved with putti, medallions, drape and foliate figures. Displaying an old, painted finish and a beautiful, aged patina this pair makes a very decorative addition to any room, and their diminutive size offers many decorating possibilities.
