DETAILS
Once mounted atop of a stone post, this antique lamp post had a glass globe and lit an important entrance. This unusual and lovely lamp was hand fashioned with a font for a light at the top, comprised of scrolled elements. The stem is surmounted by applied acanthus leaves and tapers to a small base, also with acanthus decoration, that rests on four, scrolled, fairly tall feet. It is a handsome lamp that will work well indoors as a floor lamp, or would be equally smart used in a patio setting. It was likely originally a gas light but can be electrified.
