From the Dijon in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France, this antique fireplace features a straight mantel surmounting a frieze with one long, horizontal reserve, flanked by foliate corner blocks, that top the fluted and reeded jambs. It is crafted in pale pink, smooth mottled Pierre de Bourgogne stone which resembles marble.
