Expertly hand carved, this beautiful antique fireplace features the rococo style of 18th century France. A curved mantel surmounts a stunning frieze featuring an elaborate shell within foliate scrolls. The chimney jambs display full-length S-scrolls, canted on the uprights, and adorned with shells and acanthus leaves. It is a very dressy piece with an elegant presence.
