Hand carved, of grit stone, this pair of large, classical statues depict Mars, the God of War, and Ceres, the Goddess of Agriculture or the Harvest. Mars is in his battle regalia, with a somber expression, and a robed Ceres, with a lion and cornucopia, in a peaceful pose.
