DETAILS
This antique, food storage cupboard was found in the desert Kutch district in Gujarat, India. This area is known for mud-mirror work or Lippan kam on objects and the traditional mud huts (bhungas). The cupboard is of pyramid shape, atop six legs with a small carved teak door with fanciful, painted and mirrored decoration.
