DETAILS
Of dovetailed, six-plank construction, this wonderful, antique, 19th century, provincial blanket chest was imaginatively fashioned with Arabesque form brass straps, inside and out; even echoed on the design of the nut fastenings. The exterior retains the original, soft red finish and the interior surprises us with an original faux marble finish. It has heavy side bails and sits atop bracket feet. A wonderful coffee table for a casual setting!
