Retaining the original, tooled and dyed leather upholstery, this dramatic, antique, 18th century Scandinavian host chair features a tall, straight back, long arms and finely turned arm supports, legs and H-stretcher. A beautifully hand carved, very decorative front stretcher has a carved crown and acanthus leaf motif. It is a wonderful survivor of the period.
