Dhokra (Dokra) is an ancient, tribal folk art tradition of lost-wax metal casting found in the eastern states of India in West Bengal, Odisha (Orissa), Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. This small antique case was designed to store betel nuts which were traditionally chewed as a digestive stimulant and mild narcotic.
