An antique Victorian brass compote, tazza or calling card receiver tray with reticulated bowl around a round reverse painted glass reserve with a commemorative souvenir image of The Crystal Palace building, with flecks of mother-of-pearl. The Crystal Palace (London, England, 1851-1936) was built to host the London Great Exhibition 1851 World's Fair.
