DETAILS
A very large scale, Japanese porcelain platter of round form on a ring foot. It is decorated in iron red, cobalt blue and green glazes with gilt highlights with floral, fabric and landscape scenes with a boat, heron and houses. The underside with underglaze blue floral decoration. Known by antique Imari export collectors as Arita ware.
