DETAILS
This unusually tall, traditional, antique Indian oil lamp is known as a diya. This attractive piece was cast in delicate fashion, with five wick holders in the oil well, and a decorative, open handle at the top. It sits atop a slender, straight column, with a key-like height adjuster at the top and restrained, baluster turnings at the bottom. The whole terminates on a broad drip pan with three, small, paw feet. It makes a great accessory as is, but could also be customized as a table lamp.
