An antique set of five plates handpainted with floral baskets (each a different floral bouquet) with a scarce maroon or claret red color border and inverted shell or dropped shell molding. Several potteries did this inverted shell shape including: Alcock, Rathbone, Machin, Ridgway, New Hall, and others.
