DETAILS
An antique, 18th century Georgian coconut goblet with silver mounts on a pedestal foot. The front features an oval plaque engraved with the owner's monogram: IR. At the time coconuts would have been quite a novelty to England, most-likely brought by a sailor. The silver mounted decoration would have been done by a silversmith converting it into a drinking vessel.
