DETAILS
This traditional, antique Japanese vertical hanging scroll (Kakejiku) is hand painted in ink and watercolor with a scene of a riverside landscape with a house and a figure and horse on the shore. It is mounted on a silk brocade frame, with a hanging cord and a wooden, roller stick at the bottom to roll and also weight it.

Marked (box): with calligraphy characters and a red seal.
