DETAILS
Made in Colonial India, this antique desk, 19th century solid rosewood table features a scalloped and pierced back gallery and thoroughly carved, scalloped apron and legs. The shoulders of the cabriole legs display mythical vyala creatures with tiger faces bearing their teeth and foliate carving. The legs are joined by a carved, scrolled saltire stretcher. It can be used as a console table or writing desk.
