An antique, country Scandinavian grandfather clock is decorated over all with a traditional, folk art paint with kurbits patterns. Mora tallcase clocks derive their name from the town of Mora in the Dalarna province and have a unique hourglass case shape. With convex glass face.

Marked (case): Anno 1790. Writing on interior in pencil with dates 1845 and 1885.
