An antique, tranquil western landscape painting of the American West with a tree lined river with a view to Holy Cross Mountain in the distance beneath a cloud filled sky. Mount of the Holy Cross is a tall mountain summit in the northern Sawatch Range of the Colorado, Rocky Mountains. It is named for the large cross pattern that appears in the snow.
