Small vintage Japanese neriage tea cup or jar with lid. Nerikomi and neriage are pottery techniques whereby multiple colors of stained clay are layered to form patterns. Neriage refers to agateware pottery which is thrown on the wheel and nerikomi is agateware that is hand built.
