This antique, Regency period black lacquered ink stand has a rectangular two-tier frame with reeded edges and a brass carrying handle. It has three square wells for ink bottles, over two pen trays with sliding lids and brass knobs, above a long base drawer on one side. From an important estate with great history, it would be the centerpiece of any desk.
